Connect Claude

Trayflux is a list app for shopping, to-dos and whatever you need to remember. Connect Claude to it once, and you can ask Claude to make and update your lists.

Before you start

  • You need a Trayflux account. Trayflux is invite-only at the moment, so ask for access if you don't have one.

  • Sign in to Trayflux in the browser you use for Claude.

  • These steps are for Claude on the web. The Claude desktop app has the same steps. Once Trayflux is added, Claude's phone app can use it too.

  • You add Trayflux by its address, as a custom connector. It isn't in Claude's directory yet.

On a Team or Enterprise plan

An owner adds Trayflux for the organisation first. Claude's guide to custom connectors explains how.

Steps

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.

The top of Claude's Customize page, with Connectors chosen between Skills and Plugins, and an Add button at the right.
  2. Choose Add, then Add custom connector

Choose Add, then Add custom connector.

The Add button opened, showing one choice beneath it: Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the name and the address

Type Trayflux as the name, paste this address, and choose Continue:

    https://app.trayflux.com/api/mcp

Claude's Add custom connector dialog, with Trayflux typed as the name and Trayflux's address in the MCP server URL box, above the Cancel and Continue buttons.
  4. Keep the detected settings and choose Add

Leave the settings as Claude detected them, with Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity chosen. Scroll down and choose Add.

The lower part of the same dialog. Under OAuth client, Use Claude's published identity is chosen and marked Detected. The Add button is at the bottom right, beside Back.
  5. Choose Connect

Claude says you're not connected to Trayflux yet. Choose Connect.

  6. Allow access in Trayflux

Claude opens Trayflux, which asks whether Claude may reach your lists. Check that the page names Claude, then choose Allow access.

Trayflux's page headed 'Claude wants access to your lists'. It names the application as claude.ai, shows the account you are signed in as, says Claude will be able to read, create, change and delete all of your lists and items and will also see your email address, your display name, the names of people who have added to your lists, and the history of your lists, and has two buttons, Cancel and Allow access.

Check it worked

Claude turns Trayflux on for new chats. To see it, start a chat, choose +, then Connectors.

The menu under the plus button in a Claude chat, listing Add files or photos, Skills, Connectors, Design system, Plugins, Devices, Research and Memory.

Then send Claude a recipe and ask it to put the ingredients on your shopping list.

Example: what you send Claude

Lemon and tomato spaghetti, for two

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 40 g Parmesan
  • 1 bunch basil

Add the ingredients for this recipe to my shopping list.

Claude may ask before it uses Trayflux. That question comes from Claude, and you can answer it for one chat or for good. When it has finished, it says what it added.

A Claude chat. The recipe and the request are at the top. Beneath them Claude shows Used Trayflux and replies that all six ingredients are now on the Shopping list with their quantities, sorted into aisles.

Then open your Shopping list in Trayflux. The ingredients are there, each with its quantity and its supermarket aisle.

What Claude can do now

Claude can read and change all of your lists, and that includes deleting them. It can also see your email address, your name, the names of people who have added to your lists, and the history of your lists, including lists and items you've deleted in the last 30 days. Trayflux asked you once, when you connected. It doesn't ask again for each change.

Disconnect

To end the connection, open Settings in Trayflux, find the row that names claude.ai under Connected apps, and choose Disconnect. Claude needs to be online to reach your lists.

Connected apps in Trayflux's Settings, with one row: Claude (claude.ai), the date it was connected, and a Disconnect button.
